QA Specialist / Manager
Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join their team. As a Quality Inspector, you will be an essential part of the quality assurance department, supporting production teams to ensure the highest standards of product quality. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will enable you to thrive within the organization.
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Location: Pewaukee, WI
Pay Range: $20
Shift: 1st shift 5:30 AM to 3:45 PM Monday thru Thursday
What's the Job?
- Perform routine visual inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process goods, and finished products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Conduct final inspections of castings prior to shipment and communicate any rework needs to supervision.
- Compare inspection results with company quality standards and report findings for analysis and corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain logs, charts, and documentation related to quality levels and inspection data.
- Assist in defect analysis, evaluate casting surfaces, and verify surface finish quality for compliance with specifications.
What's Needed?
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- 2-5 years of experience working with foundry castings or similar manufacturing environments.
- Ability to read and interpret technical prints, safety rules, and operating instructions.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Visual inspection training and casting defect analysis training are preferred.
