Bio Life Plasma Services is seeking a dedicated Phlebotomist to support our plasma donation centers. This role requires flexibility, customer-focused service, and precise operational execution.

As a Phlebotomist, you will report to the Plasma Center Manager and work as a plasma donor screener and phlebotomist. Your responsibilities focus on donor engagement, venipuncture, and equipment operation to ensure high-quality plasma collections.

• Greet donors as they enter and exit the donor floor.
• Perform venipuncture and program plasmapheresis machines.
• Monitor donors throughout donation and manage donor reactions.
• Set up, verify, operate, and troubleshoot plasmapheresis equipment within scope of training.
• Install, prime, and disconnect disposable sets on the plasmapheresis machines.
• Stock supplies, break down empty cartons, and assist with proper disposal.
• Take and record donor vitals (pulse, blood pressure, temperature) and monitor the electronic donor questionnaire system.
• Perform finger sticks, test samples, and record measures such as hematocrit, total protein, and weight.
• Enter donor information into the Donor Information System (DIS).
• Coordinate donors to the donor floor and compensate donors using the debit card system.
• Support center management in identifying operational opportunities for continuous improvement, using procedures like 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to walk and/or stand for the entire work shift.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to lean, bend, stoop, crouch, and reach above shoulders and below knees.
• Ability to lift up to 5 lbs., with occasional lifting of materials up to 32 lbs. rarely up to 50 lbs.
• Fine motor coordination, depth perception, and the ability to hear equipment from a distance.
• Proficiency in using gloves during prolonged glove wear tasks (90% of work).
• At least 1 year of experience in a customer or patient‑facing role.

U.S. Starting Hourly Wage: $18.00 (actual hourly wage in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements)
