Prairie Trust®, a division of Waukesha State Bank, is seeking an experienced Fiduciary Tax Manager to oversee all aspects of fiduciary tax compliance for our trust and wealth management clients. This role is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely preparation and filing of fiduciary income, estate, gift, personal income, and IRA-related tax returns. Serving as a subject matter expert, the Fiduciary Tax Manager will consult with clients and attorneys on complex estates and administrative trusts, provide tax planning guidance, support estate administration matters, and collaborate with internal teams and external partners to deliver exceptional service.
The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience in fiduciary, estate, and gift taxation within a trust department, accounting firm, or law firm, along with strong technical, research, and communication skills. A CPA, MST, or JD is a plus.
