Summary of Responsibilities
Summary of Responsibilities: Lead the team behind the Facility Ratings that power a reliable transmission system. As Team Leader, Ratings, you’ll own ATC’s Facility Ratings program—guiding methodology, compliance, data integrity, and advanced rating technologies while leading a team of engineers and data specialists. This role blends technical leadership, people development, and industry engagement to ensure our ratings are accurate, compliant, and future-ready.
EssentialResponsibilities
What you’ll do
- Lead and develop the Ratings Team (Facility Ratings Engineers and Data Specialists)
- Own Facility Ratings Methodology (FRM) and NERC FAC‑008 compliance
- Oversee ATC’s ratings database (
SELD
) and data quality controls - Lead LiDAR / re‑rate efforts and vendor coordination
- Advance modern rating approaches like Ambient Adjusted and Dynamic Line Ratings
- Represent ATC in key industry and regulatory forums
What you bring
- BS in Engineering or equivalent transmission industry experience
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of electric transmission equipment ratings
- Experience with asset data management, process documentation, and controls
- Proven ability to lead, coach, and deliver through a team

The targeted base pay for this position is $148,300 to $173,000 annually. Base pay is one component of our comprehensive total rewards package which includes an annual incentive bonus, employer-sponsored pension plan, 401(k) match, HSA contribution, life & disability insurance, health care benefits, generous time off plans, flexible work arrangements, and much more.
