Prairie Hill Waldorf School is seeking a friendly, organized, and self-motivated Admissions Coordinator to join our administrative team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with families, managing details, and serving as an ambassador for a mission-driven school community.

The Admissions Coordinator guides families through the enrollment process while collaborating closely with faculty, administration, and marketing to support both new and continuing enrollment.

Founded in 1987, Prairie Hill Waldorf School is a full member of AWSNA and WECAN, serving 179 students from Pre-K through Grade 8. Our 14-acre campus features gardens, wetlands, and wooded areas and is located in Wisconsin’s Lake Country between Milwaukee and Madison. We are deeply committed to sustainability, beauty, and holistic education.

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective families; respond promptly to inquiries
  • Conduct school tours, admissions meetings, and follow-up communications
  • Coordinate enrollment processes for Playgroup, Summer Camp, Early Childhood, and Grades
  • Maintain accurate enrollment records and databases (including FACTS)
  • Support continuing enrollment and conduct exit interviews as needed
  • Coordinate new family orientations, class lists, and school directories
  • Manage Wisconsin Choice Program requirements, reporting, and audits
  • Collaborate on outreach efforts, Open Houses, and community events
  • Provide regular enrollment reports to the Administrator
Qualifications
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Comfort with clerical duties, databases, and community-facing events
  • Enthusiasm for working with children and families
  • Interest in and commitment to learning about Waldorf education
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. and participate in day-long outreach events
  • Part-time, hourly position
  • Compensation based on experience
