Shuttle Driver

Overview

As a Shuttle Driver at BHYC, you're the friendly face ensuring everyone’s journey starts off on the right foot. You’ll transport BHYC employees to and from the Club and assist members on excursions. Safety is your top priority as you navigate the Petoskey and Charlevoix areas, share helpful tips, and ensure a smooth ride. You keep the shuttle clean and in top-notch condition, and your communication and organization help ensure every trip is a success.

We are currently looking for full-time or part-time shuttle drivers with an estimated start during the first week of May. Ideal shifts are 8 AM to 4 PM or 3 PM to 11 PM, but we can be flexible depending on your needs.

Bay Harbor Yacht Club (BHYC) is a private club near Petoskey, MI, offering breathtaking views and exceptional service for guests and members year-round. BHYC features several restaurants, multiple recreational outlets, and large event spaces on the Bay Harbor marina. A recent multi‑million‑dollar renovation included expanded summer dining, a new Grille Room, a state‑of‑the‑art Fitness Center, an Aquatics Center, and a Relaxation Spa.

• Transport BHYC employees and/or members to destinations according to event/work schedules
• Welcome employees/members when boarding the shuttle
• Effectively communicate safety information to passengers
• Assist with loading/unloading luggage as needed
• Maintain safe driving protocols at all times
• Conduct daily and weekly inspections of the shuttle vehicle(s) and complete logs
• Report any vehicle issues or maintenance needs to maintenance department in a timely manner
• Ensure shuttle is kept clean and presentable
• Perform other duties as assigned

• 1–2 years experience in commercial driving preferred
• High School Diploma preferred
• CDL License preferred but not required
• Clean driving record required
• Chauffeur’s license required (club will cover cost to get one if you do not have one)
• Must be able to work some weekends, evenings and/or holidays
