Description:

The Registered Nurse uses clinical judgment skills to diagnose and treat patient responses to actual or potential health conditions.
The RN is a critical member of the unit that cares for a high volume of patients annually.
Procedures include various cardiac interventions and post-operative care.
The unit specializes in the care of patients with significant health conditions.
The team demonstrates top performance in care and efficiency, striving for optimal patient outcomes.
Attendance is strictly monitored with a three-strike policy in place.
Situations such as communicable diseases or hospitalization will be reviewed with supporting evidence.
The RN must manage vents, CRRT, and balloon pumps as part of their responsibilities.
A skills checklist completed within the past year for RN specialties is required.
Michigan license verification is necessary for all nursing staff.
