Neurologist Locum Opportunity (Michigan)
Seeking a Board-Certified Neurologist to provide onsite clinic and hospital coverage beginning March 2026 with multiple coverage dates extending through July 2026. The position includes weekday onsite coverage from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, followed by night call coverage from 4:30 PM to 8:00 AM, as well as 24-hour weekend call responsibilities.
During onsite hours, the provider will manage both outpatient clinic visits and inpatient hospital coverage. Outpatient appointments typically occur Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM, with an expected patient volume of approximately 6 8 patients per day. Providers will also be responsible for reading inpatient and outpatient EEGs as needed and maintaining hospital coverage when outpatient volumes are low.
The facility utilizes Cerner as the EMR system.
Required procedural competencies include radiologic exam interpretation, lumbar puncture, EEG interpretation, brain death examinations, and evoked potential testing. Providers must be comfortable managing acute neurological cases and participating in after-hours call coverage.

Active Michigan Medical License Required at time of submission
Active DEA Required
BLS and ACLS Certifications Required
NIH Stroke Scale and tPA competency Preferred
Clean malpractice history with carrier and coverage details
Availability and preferred shift types clearly listed

Immunization documentation including Hepatitis B, MMR, Varicella, Flu (current season), COVID documentation, TB screening within 12 months, and TDAP within the last 10 years.
