Gastroenterology Locums in Michigan
An immediate and ongoing locum tenens assignment is available for an experienced Gastroenterology Physician in Michigan
Practice Setting
- Hospital-based practice in Michigan for this locums assignment
- Daily volume of 18 outpatients and 20 inpatient scopes
- Collaborate with a team of 2 Physicians and 2 APPs
- All support services, including lab and XRay, are onsite
Schedule
- Daily shift hours are 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday
- Schedule includes 24-hour weekend call
Procedures and Cases
- Primary responsibility is providing Endoscopy coverage
- Must be proficient and willing to perform ERCP procedures
- Manage and consult on all inpatient gastroenterology cases
Requirements
- Active Michigan state licensure and CSR at the time of submission is mandatory
- Board Certification in Gastroenterology is required
- Must hold active ACLS and DEA certifications
- Prior post-fellowship experience (minimum 2-3 years) is non-negotiable
