• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner at the healthcare location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe for any unusual circumstances.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas within the healthcare environment to help to deter unauthorized access and to support a secure atmosphere for staff, patients, and visitors.
• Document and report any security-related incidents or concerns according to site protocols.
• Work collaboratively with facility staff and/or emergency personnel as needed during incidents or emergencies.
• Remain visible and approachable to provide assistance and information to those at the location.

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• CPR and first aid certification is preferred.
