Inventory Control Clerk I (Full Time)
We are looking for an Inventory Control Clerk to support retail operations. The role involves audits, pricing, inventory management, and physical tasks.

- Performs overstock & shelf location audits & overstock replenishment
- Reviews pricing and corrects any price changes or mis‑labeled merchandise on the sales floor
- Reviews & corrects daily negative overrides
- Corrects daily inventory based on reports from staff
- Applies DD barcodes to items found on shelves with incorrect UPC or DD barcode info
- Monitors daily reports of discontinued items that inventories go to zero & adjusts pertaining shelf product or tag & system
- Audits yard for weathered/missing bar codes & replaces bar codes as needed
- Reviews loading tickets daily to confirm inventory is correct, reporting results to manager
- Coordinates/organizes physical inventory preparations
- Maintains discontinued items locations through daily reports
- Collects deactivated tags from cashier stations and returns them to S/R for re‑use on a daily basis
- Coordinates any additional item or cycle counting of top performing items as assigned by management
- Any and all other duties assigned by management
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of previous retail or inventory experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Proficient it math – add, subtract, divide
- Proficient with computers
- Agricultural background either through schooling or personal experience a plus due to our type of inventory
During the job, employees are regularly required to stand, sit, and/or walk for extended periods, use their hands to handle or control objects, and perform tasks that involve reaching, climbing, kneeling, or crouching.
The role involves frequently lifting or moving up to 25 pounds, with occasional requirements to handle more with assistance or equipment. Employees must also be able to push and pull using various equipment. Specific vision abilities, including close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception, are necessary. Verbal communication and the ability to hear are also required for safety and coordination.
