International Paper is inviting applicants for the Maintenance Mechanic A position.

Pay Rate: $25.76/hr - $35.26/hr (Based on experience and qualifications)

Category/Shift: Hourly Full-Time (Monday-Friday with weekends as needed). Must be available to work all shifts.

Shift Times: 1st Shift: 7a-3p; 2nd Shift: 3p-11p; 3rd Shift: 11p-7a.

• Follow all safety rules and practices.
• Perform preventive maintenance activities such as lubricating, measuring wear, measuring positions, repositioning components, and observing operations, vibrations, and noise levels.
• Perform emergency or breakdown maintenance as necessary to support plant operations.
• Accurately use measurement and test equipment.
• Perform electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam system, and other repairs and installations as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, and clean up work areas as part of completing assigned tasks.
• Accurately and completely prepare and maintain maintenance records and other paperwork.
• Troubleshoot and solve problems.
• Exhibit excellent teamwork, cooperation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to fully cross‑train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
• Willing to work alternative shifts, weekends, and overtime as required.
• Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores, and work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervision.

• A high school degree and at least two years of successful mechanical and electrical/electronic troubleshooting and repair experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Manufacturing experience in the corrugated industry is highly desirable.
• On‑the‑job success in safety, attendance, and quality of work.
• Strong knowledge of lubrication, hydraulics, welding, pneumatics, electrical, and electronics technologies.
• Excellent teamwork, cooperation, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to fully cross‑train in other technical areas to enhance capabilities.
• Willing and able to work any shift, call‑ins, holidays, and overtime.
• Able to work with computer system for maintenance processes, stores, and work orders.

Prior to employment, all candidates will participate in a testing process that includes a written and hands‑on test, structured panel interview, background check, and physical/drug testing.
