**** Summary of Primary Functions:
** Coordinates, plans, and supervises in the Maintenance Shop to ensure that preventative maintenance is performed on plant equipment. Repairs machinery, plant utilities (electrical, plumbing, etc.) and company owned trailers.

* Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

** All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high-quality products.
* Assign preventative maintenance duties to Maintenance Mechanics Class A &

B.
* Assign equipment repair requests to Maintenance Mechanics Class A &

B.
* Coordinate preventative maintenance and repair schedules for company owned trailers.
* Respond to requests by BDS Foremen for emergency repairs to equipment (flat tires, electrical problems, etc.).
* Inspect machinery and equipment to ensure compliance with company safety rules and OSHA regulations.
* Plan, supervise, and complete special projects as requested b Plant Manager or Maintenance Shop Manager.
* Inspect and repair plumbing fixtures, electrical wire, and heating/air conditioning units.
* Contact vendors or sales representatives for emergency replacement of critical machinery parts.

Qualifications:

* ** Education and/or

Experience:

** High School Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
