The Cage Cashier is responsible for Live! Rewards enrollments, redemptions, and service, as well as for accurate cash transactions in accordance with company policies, procedures, and state regulations.

• Relay Live! Rewards card uses and benefits to guests, and describe current and upcoming promotions.
• Issue Live! Rewards cards to new and existing guests efficiently and accurately.
• Assist Live! Rewards members with redemption transactions.
• Exchange chips and slot tickets for cash.
• Perform check cashing and counter check transactions for slot patrons.
• Assist customers with check cashing and front money applications.
• Manage chips and cash in the assigned window.
• Maintain a neat and well-stocked window with cash, chips, and supplies for the next shift.
• Process transactions accurately and maintain proper reconciliations.
• Assist with processing credit applications and perform required verifications in accordance with regulations.
• Notify the Casino Credit Executive of any critical information on credit reports.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory controls of the State Gaming Agency.
• Promote superior guest service.

• Effective communication skills with the public.
• Ability to understand financial information, data, and perform basic arithmetic functions.

Must-Haves:

• High school diploma or equivalent, with experience in high-volume cash operations.
• Ability to work in an environment with alcohol and smoking.
• Ability to secure and maintain licensure as required by the Virginia Gaming Control Board or other regulatory entities.

Physical Requirements:

• Availability for extended hours in a 24/7 operation.
• Ability to move with energy and urgency within a large casino environment.
• Use of stairs and elevators multiple times daily.
