Job Description:

We are hiring a Validation Engineer – Sterile Fill-Finish (Cartridge Line) in Petersburg, VA. This role is focused on validating sterile manufacturing systems for injectable drug production in a GMP-regulated environment.

You will lead validation and qualification activities for aseptic cartridge filling equipment and sterile processing systems. The role supports a fill-finish manufacturing facility and ensures compliance with FDA and EU GMP regulations.

• Lead IQ/OQ/PQ for sterile fill‑finish equipment
• Validate aseptic cartridge filling systems
• Perform thermal mapping and depyrogenation oven validation
• Conduct airflow, sterilization, and environmental validation
• Develop and execute validation protocols and reports
• Ensure compliance with FDA, EU GMP, and GMP regulations
• Support startup or commercial fill‑finish operations
• Work closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams

• 5+ years of experience in pharmaceutical/biotech validation
• Strong background in sterile injectable manufacturing
• Hands‑on experience with:
• IQ / OQ / PQ
• Sterile fill‑finish systems
• Knowledge of FDA and EU GMP regulations
• Experience in startup or commercial sterile facilities (highly preferred)
