In this role you will split your time between design and hands-on engineering support. You will conduct cradle to grave design work using Solid Works and Autodesk Inventor, primarily focusing on designing expansions for existing industrial machinery. This is a fully site-based role with exposure to projects across multiple departments.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer from an industrial machinery or component background, looking to build a long-term career at a market-leading business.
The Role:
- Cradle to grave design work using Solid Works and Autodesk Inventor, primarily focusing on designing expansions for existing industrial machinery.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and maintenance teams
- Support continuous improvement by evaluating designs and recommending improvements
The Person:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Industrial machinery or component design experience
- Looking for specialist training, site-based stability, and progression into senior engineering roles
