Job Opportunity

The Senior Facilities and Maintenance Manager is responsible for ensuring the optimal operation, safety, and reliability of all physical assets within an organization, including buildings, utilities and critical infrastructure. This role combines strategic planning with hands‑on leadership to maintain compliance, minimise downtime, and support business continuity.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Execute reactive maintenance to restore equipment functionality
  • Implement proactive maintenance strategies (preventive and predictive)
  • Maintain CMMS records and ensure compliance with maintenance and regulatory schedules
  • Conduct root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Support production uptime and reliability initiatives
  • Maintain building infrastructure, utilities and safety systems
  • Perform groundskeeping and seasonal care activities
  • Manage electrical, plumbing and structural repairs
  • Oversee waste management operations and recycling programmes
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory, environmental and safety regulations
  • Develop and execute validation protocols
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards
  • Maintain documentation for traceability and audit readiness
  • Lead development of cost‑saving improvements for MGPP creation and execution
  • Define scope, budget, timeline and ROI for capital investments
  • Coordinate cross‑functional input and approvals
  • Align with Manufacturing Engineering leadership on strategic goals
  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean initiatives
  • Maintain documentation and reporting standards
  • Support capital projects and facility upgrades
  • Ensure safety, quality and operational efficiency across all functions
  • Drive factory value‑stream transformations aligned with lean principles
  • Champion Factory of the Future initiatives (automation, digitalisation, sustainability)
  • Align engineering strategy with long‑term business goals
Degree Requirement

Degree or equivalent experience desirable

Skills, Experience & Qualifications You Will Have
  • Manufacturing Application Systems – Level Working Knowledge:
    Knowledge of company and industry databases and applications used in a manufacturing environment; ability to operate, maintain and update these systems.
  • Collaborating – Level Working Knowledge:
    Knowledge of collaborative techniques; ability to work with a variety of individuals and groups in a constructive and collaborative manner.
