Special Needs Nurture and Support Classroom Assist

Leader Education are excited to be recruiting a passionate and dedicated SEND Learning Support Assistant to join a large, nurturing SEND school in Peterlee
.

• Monday to Friday
• 8:30am – 4:30pm
• Long‑term position with the potential to become permanent following a successful trial

• Holds an Enhanced DBS (or is willing to obtain one)
• Has relevant educational experience or a background in supporting SEND (desirable)
• Demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Is adaptable and committed to meeting diverse student needs
• Builds positive, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
• Understands the importance of safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
• Can confidently support pupils in accessing the curriculum and participating in classroom activities
