We're looking for experienced Functional Skills Tutors in Peterlee to deliver 1‑1 or small group Maths & English tuition to young people who aren t currently in full‑time education. These students may have been out of school for a while and can face emotional or behavioural barriers. What they need now is consistency, patience, and someone who believes in them.

• Functional Skills Maths
• Functional Skills English
• PSHE
• Entry Level 3, Level 1 & Level 2

• Deliver engaging, personalised 1‑1 or small group sessions
• Close learning gaps and rebuild confidence
• Track progress and provide simple weekly feedback
• Create a calm, supportive learning space
• Sessions are face‑to‑face in community settings, schools/alternative provisions, or the young person’s home.

• Up to GBP

• Experience delivering Functional Skills
• Right to Work in the UK
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply)
