Salary: £50000. Joining bonus of £2,000 and a generous relocation package will be provided to the right candidate.

We are looking for an experienced engineer to lead our engineering team at our Buchan depots based in Peterhead. The role involves supporting, advising and managing a team of professionals who maintain and repair a diverse fleet of approximately 45 buses and coaches, as well as managing plant, buildings and equipment. You will be responsible for resource management, inventory, recruiting, training, health and safety, and ensuring vehicles are presented to high standards.

There is opportunity for progression: the next step in the career ladder is Chief Engineer. You will work alongside the Engineering Director to develop your skills and experience.

Key qualifications and experience:

• Experience in a related engineering field such as truck, light commercial or rail industry (basket is not required).
• Evidence of team management experience, regardless of team size.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
