Here at GXO Peterborough, we are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our transport team supporting one of our new business wins with M&S. You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an any 5 days from 7 pattern, with start time at 06:00 or 18:00. Choose what suits you best!

• An hourly rate of £17.43
• A 15% shift premium, for hours worked between 22:00 and 06:00
• Overtime paid at 1.25 of an hourly rate increasing to 1.5 above 60

• Carry out a mix of single and multidrop deliveries (typically up to 2 drops per shift) across England and Wales, collecting returns and equipment from stores as required, with no nights out
• Handle totes, rails and occasional pallets, ensuring safe and efficient loading and unloading procedures
• Maintain clear communication with the Depot Transport Office regarding any issues and deliver exemplary customer service by being polite and courteous at all times
• Operate company vehicles in a safe, legal, and efficient manner, while ensuring required documents are completed accurately and on time

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles is essential
• Full UK driving licence with category C+E entitlement
• Valid Driver Qualification and Digital Tachograph Cards
• No more than 6 current penalty points
• No DR, DG, DD, BA, CD, AC, LC or TT99 endorsements
