This is a Permanent, Full Time vacancy that will close in 2 days at 23:59 GMT.

In our Community Support Worker role, you’ll provide housing related support to our customers within our supported housing accommodation. You will enable people to live as independently as possible with dignity, promoting general wellbeing and respect for their wishes and preferences, by providing support in line with policies and procedures and individualised support plans.

Contract:

Permanent – Full Time

Your week: 37 hours per week (7‑day rota, Monday through to Sunday)

Snapshot of your role
  • Updating and maintaining records, as well as reporting and documenting any issues.
  • Ensure that individuals are supported in understanding and managing their licences, maximizing their income, paying their rent and utilities, reporting repairs, and using available facilities.
  • Maintain and respect all peoples’ choices, privacy, confidentiality, dignity, and independence, treating them as individuals.
Your toolkit for success
  • Some knowledge and understanding of homelessness and the issues around it would be beneficial.
  • To be comfortable in challenging negative beliefs and provide positive behaviour support.
  • To demonstrate a supportive and caring nature.
  • Good communication and listening skills, with a strong ability to provide advice to help our customers.
