What we need
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations including AM2 (or equivalent)
  • Up to date 18th Edition Qualification (Amendment 3:2024)
  • C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing – desirable but not essential
  • Experience working within a similar environment - commercial, industrial and domestic experience
  • Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) or SMSTS
  • Strong organisational, leadership and people management skills, with the ability to coordinate tasks and support project delivery effectively.
  • Confident with a range of IT systems and software
  • Self‑motivated, proactive and a positive attitude
  • Excellent team player with the ability to integrate and inspire others
  • Willingness to undertake training and personal development
  • Commitment to maintaining professional standards and continuous improvement
  • A full current UK driving licence and have had at least 6 months driving experience since passing your test.

Job Description

Reporting to a Building Services Manager, the Building Services Engineer (Electrician) will take on the role of supporting the Princeenergy Department with their ongoing works and variety of projects of an electrical commercial and domestic nature within the construction and refurbishment industry.

Due to the nature of our varied projects, works can be nationwide and require flexible working hours. Project sizes will vary from large projects working within a team to smaller projects with pairs or solo working. These projects will include public sector, health sector, educational sector, retail, social housing, government buildings, prisons, police stations, care homes, undertaking repairs, breakdowns and installation works.

The primary role of this engineer will be ensuring that the allocated projects are run efficiently and profitably ensuring full compliance to Health & Safety legislation and contracts conditions. The most critical conditions being that all work is completed to a high standard, in a safe working manner, within programme and to the total satisfaction of our client.
