Electrician

Position: Electrician (Permanent)
Fraser Edwards are currently working with a construction contractor that have been trading for over 50 years in the construction sector providing complete building and maintenance services to private and public clients nationwide.
Due to an expansion and taking on more work they are looking for their next electrician to join the team and really make a difference within the company.
All works will be undertaken in Peterborough and local surrounding areas.
The Job:
The role involves carrying out maintenance, repairs, and planned works in both void and tenanted properties, with responsibility for the following key duties:

* Carry out routine pre planned & reactive maintenance

* undertaking all aspects of domestic electrical repairs, new installations including full and partial rewires, CCU changes, shower installations, boilers connection.

* Physical fault finding as required

* Carry out modifications and installations as and when required

* Complete any required paperwork and reports accurately and on a timely basis.

* Testing and Inspecting

* Logging works via PDA

* Liaising with customers, clients, and staff
This role will include a call out rota, which is 1 in every 4 weeks.

* you will receive a standby fee, paid per day

* All call outs paid at x1.5 hourly rate door to door

* No more thancall outs which normally occur before 10pm and after 6am
