Attega Group is working on behalf of our client as their in‑house recruitment provider.
We are currently recruiting for a Door Entry and Access Control Engineer to join their team.
The main purpose of this Field Service Engineer role is to carry out planned and reactive maintenance and fault‑finding across a range of access control, door entry systems, CCTV and fire alarms. Experience would be a bonus ensuring high standards of customer service and system reliability.
In return, our client is offering a salary of up to £42,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This role is full‑time and permanent. The hours of work are Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 16:30pm.
Reporting to the Service Manager, your responsibilities will include:- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on Access Control, and Door Entry systems, intercoms and some CCTV
- Responding to reactive service calls and diagnosing system faults
- Completing small installation and upgrade works where required
- Conducting site surveys and supporting project estimations
- Knowledge of Fire system's would be beneficial to reset systems
- Maintaining accurate job records using electronic systems
- Providing exceptional customer service and representing the business professionally at all times
- Min 2+ years' experience in Security, Door Entry and Access control industry
- Strong knowledge of systems such as Entrotec, Pac, Paxton, Hikvision, and Dahua (or similar)
- Confident in fault‑finding, testing, and commissioning
- Understanding of cause & effect programming advantageous
- IT literate (Outlook, Excel, engineering apps)
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- Must pass DBS and employment checks
