Business Development Manager

Are you a proactive sales professional who enjoys developing business and building strong customer relationships? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing organisation that produces bespoke products designed to help commercial clients run their operations more efficiently. You will work closely with manufacturers and business customers, understanding their challenges and providing tailored solutions that add real value.

This role offers genuine autonomy. You will manage your own diary, prioritise opportunities and build a strategic approach to new business and account growth.

Responsibilities
  • Growing and managing a portfolio of B2B clients
  • Identifying new business opportunities through proactive outreach by phone, email and online communication
  • Understanding customer needs and recommending solutions that support efficiency and performance
  • Building strong relationships with manufacturing partners and key stakeholders
  • Creating and delivering strategic sales plans to support revenue growth
  • Managing your own day‑to‑day sales activity and pipeline
  • Going out and meeting new and existing clients all across the country
What we are looking for
  • Experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Someone confident engaging with decision makers, ideally enjoying phone‑based business development
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to understand customer problems and present solutions
  • Self‑motivated, organised and commercially minded
  • Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of targets
