Trade Mastermind is the UK’s leading business education and coaching group for the construction industry. Founded by BBC Apprentice Winner Joseph Valente, we’ve trained over 5,000 trade business owners who on average achieve 370% growth in their first year with us.

In 2026, we open the 20,000 sq. ft. Trade Mastermind University Headquarters – the first dedicated university for trades, featuring a 300‑person event arena, podcast studios, and Cambridge’s first rooftop bar inside a business premises.

We are now hiring a high‑performance Telesales Manager to take ownership of an existing telesales team, strengthen its performance, and expand it into a high‑output, event‑driving sales unit.

This role is central to the commercial engine of the business, driving Discovery Day bookings, increasing attendance, and feeding the top of the funnel for all Trade Mastermind education programs.

THE ROLE

You will lead, manage and grow an existing outbound telesales team responsible for selling places on:

  • 97 Discovery Days
  • Business training events
  • Introductory small‑ticket programs

Your mission: Increase volumes, improve attendance rates, and maximise revenue generated from events.

You will refine current systems, introduce stronger KPIs, hire additional team members, create training frameworks, and build a high‑energy telesales culture.

This is a leadership role for someone who loves driving activity, conversions, and daily performance.

WHAT YOU WILL DO Team Leadership & Development
  • Lead and motivate an existing telesales team
  • Build headcount as demand grows
  • Deliver daily coaching, call reviews, and conversion optimisation
  • Strengthen performance culture: energy, speed, consistency
Sales & Performance Management
  • Manage outbound volume, booking numbers, and follow‑up conversions
  • Increase Discovery Day attendance rates
  • Improve show‑up %, reduce no‑shows, drive rollover attendance
  • Implement world‑class scripts, rebuttals, and telesales systems
KPIs & Reporting
  • Establish strong daily, weekly, and monthly KPIs
  • Work closely with Rev Ops to optimise pipelines, automations, and dashboards
  • Report directly to the CEO on team performance and revenue output
Scaling the Division
  • Recruit new telesales representatives
  • Identify future team leaders and develop them
  • Build structured training, call frameworks, and onboarding processes
BONUS STRUCTURE

Your bonus and team overrides are tied directly to:

  • Attendance Performance – the percentage of customers who attend Discovery Days. Improved attendance rates = higher bonuses.
  • Event Day Sales Overrides – you receive team‑based override percentages on revenue generated at events.
  • Higher conversions = higher earning potential. This creates a performance‑driven, scalable earning model for both you and the team.

    • Proven Telesales Manager or Inside Sales Team Leader
    • Strong track record managing outbound telesales teams
    • Excellent at coaching, driving KPIs, improving conversions
    • High‑energy, motivational leader
    • Expert in scripts, objection handling, and call structure
    • Data‑driven, disciplined, and process‑oriented
    • Thrives in a fast‑paced, high‑growth sales environment
    • Experience in B2B, events, education, or construction is beneficial but not essential.
    THE VISION

    Your telesales function will form the front‑end engine of Trade Mastermind’s national expansion.

    Over the next three years, we will:

    • Scale from £10M to £100M
    • Train over 1,000 business owners annually
    • Open multiple Trade Mastermind University sites globally

    Your leadership will directly influence how the business grows.
