Specialist, Quality Assurance - QA​/QC, Quality Control ​/ Manager

We're looking for a Quality Systems Specialist to lead the Technical Services function and keep the site operating confidently to BRC standards. This is a hands‑on, influential role where you'll strengthen systems, guide people, and ensure food safety and quality are genuinely embedded, not just talked about.

• Ownership of the site Quality Management System, ensuring it is robust, maintained and audit‑ready year‑round
• End‑to‑end management of the internal audit programme, from planning through to close‑out
• Control of the Master Action Log and site technical schedule
• Leadership and development of the Technical Services team
• Supplier approval compliance and alignment with customer and BRC requirements across the site
• Driving complaint reduction and ensuring thorough, practical responses when issues arise
• Maintaining the internal systems section of the HACCP manual, keeping it fit for purpose
• Providing quality inputs into site meetings and food safety/quality communications
• Leading the Food Safety & Quality Culture survey and converting results into real improvements
• Oversight of traceability processes
• Using data to support behavioural change and continuous improvement, not just filling spreadsheets
