Small Animal Associate Veterinarian Job, Peterborough, Ontario, Canada. Our client is seeking a full-time small animal veterinarian to contribute to a busy and collaborative veterinary practice dedicated to high-quality care for dogs and cats. The successful candidate will partner with the clinical team to manage a varied caseload of wellness visits, diagnostic workups, soft tissue surgery, dental procedures, and therapeutic interventions. Responsibilities- Leading comprehensive physical examinations and developing tailored treatment plans
- Performing routine surgery and dental procedures with thorough follow-up
- Utilizing diagnostic imaging and laboratory tools effectively
- Communicating clearly with pet owners about health needs and preventive care
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Licensure or eligibility to practice in Ontario
- Minimum of 1 year clinical experience preferred
- Strong clinical reasoning and client communication skills
