Pay Rate: £14.54 per hour

The Opportunity
We are recruiting General Operatives on a temp-to-perm basis for our client, a market-leading recycling and resource recovery business in Whittlesey. This is a fantastic chance to secure long-term employment with progression opportunities, starting on a temporary contract before moving permanent.

The Role
As a General Operative, you’ll be part of a production team responsible for the safe and efficient running of the plant. Your duties will include operating machinery, assisting with general labouring, and supporting the team to achieve daily targets.

• Operate plant and machinery safely and efficiently
• Carry out general labouring and support tasks across the site
• Monitor machinery and promptly report issues or faults
• Follow all health & safety procedures at all times
• Work closely with supervisors and colleagues to maintain smooth operations

• Reliable and flexible individuals able to work rotating shifts
• Previous experience in production, industrial, or plant work is an advantage
• Good teamwork, communication, and a positive attitude
• Willingness to learn and take on multiple tasks
• Valid FLT Counterbalance licence (essential)

• £14.54 per hour
• Temp-to-perm opportunity after probation period
