Lawrence David Ltd is a UK based manufacturer of commercial trailers and rigid bodies for the transportation industry. The team are looking to recruit an Engineering Operative Apprentice.

• Prepare, control, contribute to and complete manufacturing operations.
• Follow SOPs and adhere to safe working policies and procedures.
• Maintain Health and Safety standards including correct PPE usage.
• Organise work area using 5S principles.
• Support continuous improvement using lean tools and problem-solving techniques.
• Carry out quality checks and elevate concerns appropriately.

GCSE or Equivalent in Maths and English Grades 4-9.
Functional skills will be studied if equivalent qualifications are not held.

The learner will be studying the Engineering Operative Level 2 Apprenticeship Standard qualification.
Day release to West Suffolk College.

The opportunity of a full-time role and future training as required by the business may be offered on successful completion of the apprenticeship.
