Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and management for defined specialty areas, overseeing resources, finance, workforce, performance, quality, and risk while collaborating with divisional and clinical colleagues.
  • Lead by example to inspire, develop, and establish a competent workforce capable of delivering safe and effective patient care.
  • Foster communication and share clinical experiences and best practices within and across the Clinical Directorate.
  • Act as an information resource for junior staff, multidisciplinary teams, patients, and relatives.

  • Guide and support the team through change processes, demonstrating drive, integrity, and a balanced perspective.
  • Motivate team members and lead innovative clinical practice by setting an example.
