About this role
We are looking for a midwife who is passionate, enthusiastic and skilled in intrapartum care to work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team of Obstetricians, Anaesthetists, Theatres, SCBU, Labour Ward coordinators and Acute Service Lead Midwife in providing clinical, operational and managerial leadership.
The successful candidate must be committed to continuous quality improvement, able to participate in the development of guidelines, complete audits and support the delivery of safe, effective and personalised care.
Key responsibilities- Provide clinical and managerial leadership alongside the Acute Service Lead Midwife.
- Line‑manage staff and ensure they uphold the Trust and Professional values.
- Participate in the development of the service in line with national and local agendas, and the delivery of performance targets.
- Provide clinical advice and care within the clinical area.
- Support staff development and participate in organisational change initiatives.
Priority will be given to staff at risk within North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust and Cambridgeshire & Peterborough Integrated Care Board.
