Caterpillar’s Strategic Procurement & Planning Division is seeking a dynamic
** Director Strategic Supplier Quality
** to establish, monitor and optimize our short-term and long-term supply facing quality strategies, and aligns them with business goals. This role will report to the Vice President of Procurement within SPPD and will hold a pivotal role in our mission to connect the physical and digital worlds of Caterpillar’s supply value chain to transform the way we do business and maximize our competitive advantage.

* What You Will Do:

*** Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand business goals and determine the requirements and scope for supply based quality projects accordingly
* Establish KPIs to monitor supplier quality performance, process adherence, track and recover cost impacts, and assess supplier risk
* Lead a global team that delivers global supplier quality capabilities that deliver optimal supplier performance and internal process efficiency at the divisional and enterprise level. Focus is on a small team of high-level staff professionals and leader of leaders while influencing the broader enterprise organization.
* Work with procurement leaders to develop innovative ways to provide enhanced service support by creating a competitive advantage and apply non-traditional solutions to new problems
