We are looking for a Student Recruitment & IAG Team Leader to lead and inspire our Student Recruitment & IAG Officers and Reception team s is a pivotal leadership role at the heart of the college, shaping first impressions, driving recruitment and ensuring outstanding customer service for prospective and existing students.

About the Role- Line manage and support a team covering reception, admissions, IAG, transport and student financial support
- Ensure workloads are well managed and services run efficiently, accurately and consistently
- Drive a customer‑centric culture
, ensuring every interaction reflects high standards of service - Work closely with curriculum teams, careers, marketing, MIS, finance and external partners
- Coordinate staffing for recruitment events, peak periods and open events
- Monitor enquiries and data to support recruitment growth and continuous improvement
- Support compliance and quality frameworks, including Matrix accreditation
- Deputise for the Group Manager when required
You will also remain hands‑on when needed, supporting the team operationally and leading by example.
What We're Looking ForWe're looking for a confident, organised and motivating leader who can balance people management with operational delivery.
You will have:- A Level 3 (or above) qualification in Information, Advice & Guidance
- A Level 3 (or above) qualification in line management
- Experience leading or supervising staff
- Strong administrative and organisational skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- The ability to prioritise, remain flexible and perform well during peak recruitment periods
Experience with in post‑16 education, student services or a customer‑facing environment is highly desirable.
