The Role:

* Manage the full lifecycle of mechanical works across multiple new build projects (£500k–£3m)

* Oversee planning, installation, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems

* Deliver heating, hot & cold water, ventilation, and renewable technologies (heat pumps, UFH)

* Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and design standards

* Coordinate subcontractors and internal delivery teams

* Manage project budgets, procurement, and resource planning

* Produce project documentation, progress reports, and O&M manuals

* Chair site meetings and technical reviews

* Enforce internal processes (Price Worx) and approve invoices weekly

* Provide weekly progress reports to the Contracts Manager

* Proactively problem-solve to keep projects on programme

The Ideal Candidate :

* Minimum 5 years’ experience managing mechanical services on new build projects

* Strong technical knowledge of heating, ventilation, water systems, and renewables

* Confident reading drawings and managing installations on site

* Knowledge of Building Regulations, CDM, and industry standards (CIBSE, BESA)

* Experience working under JCT and Design & Build contracts

* Strong leadership, organisation, and communication skills

* Full UK driving licence
