Are you a Maintenance Manager who loves being close to the plant, leading from the front and making things run better every week?

We are recruiting for a senior maintenance leader to take ownership of a busy, continuous processing site with a strong mechanical focus and a large, experienced engineering team.

This is not a desk-only role. You will be visible on the plant, solving problems, improving reliability and building a team culture where safety, standards and uptime come first.

What you will be doing
 
Leading a multi-disciplined maintenance team covering mechanical and electrical
Owning all planned and reactive maintenance across the site
Driving plant availability, reliability and continuous improvement
Managing shutdowns, overhauls and improvement projects
Using a CMMS to plan work, track KPIs and raise standards
Making sure safety, housekeeping and compliance are non-negotiable
Coaching, mentoring and developing your engineers and supervisors
Working closely with operations to minimise downtime and improve performance
Managing contractors, spares and maintenance budgets  What we are looking for
 
Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or Engineering Manager in a process environment
Strong mechanical background with good electrical understanding

Experience with a range of plant, conveyors, mobile plant etc
A hands-on leader who earns respect on the shop floor
Comfortable using CMMS and data to drive decisions
IOSH or similar safety qualification
Apprentice trained with HNC, HND, NVQ Level 4 or above in engineering
