Shift Pattern: 10pm - 6am, Monday to Friday Nights
Pay: £14.65 per hour

• Collect, move, sort, process and dispatch waste and other materials including the compaction of waste and cardboard.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist the On‑Site Waste Coordinator in meeting site objectives.
• Maintain compliance with Health and Safety regulations and follow PPE guidance.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions, ensuring health, safety and time‑management requirements are met.

• Valid forklift operator licence or certification.
• Experience in waste management or a related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, adherence to safety procedures and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects, excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Good level of English, capable of following tight deadlines.
• Pass a DBS check and drug/alcohol screening test prior to starting.
• Experience in Health & Safety training and understanding of waste management and environmental legislation preferred.
• Experience with static balers and compactors and ability to carry out strenuous tasks.
