Hourly Rate: £19.12 PAYE or £25 Umbrella

12-Month Contract (Starting 1st April)

Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm

We are currently seeking a Procurement Professional to join the Purchasing team in Peterborough on a 12-month contract. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in supporting Engineering teams and delivering high-quality New Product Introduction (NPI) projects on time.

You will join a collaborative team of 14 procurement professionals (a mix of permanent and temporary employees), all reporting to the Hiring Manager. Due to increased workload, we are looking for an additional team member who can make an immediate impact.

• Supporting Engineering teams to successfully deliver NPI projects
• Managing purchasing and supply chain activities
• Working within an MRP system (full training provided on internal system)
• Ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials
• Collaborating effectively within a team environment

• Minimum 12 months’ experience in a Purchasing or Supply Chain role
• Experience working with MRP systems
• Strong PC skills, including Microsoft Office packages
• Proven purchasing experience
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively within a team

• CIPS qualification (or working towards)
• Experience in any industry sector (all industry backgrounds considered)
