Data Platform Lead

Our client, a growing organisation with a strong focus on improving how data supports decision-making across the business, is looking for a Data Platform Lead to take ownership of their reporting and analytics data environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Power BI, SQL and data modelling experience to step into a leadership role where they will oversee the development and ongoing evolution of the organisation’s core reporting data model and business intelligence platform.

Key responsibilities will include:

* Owning and managing the organisation’s core data model used for reporting and analytics

* Overseeing the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions

* Translating business reporting requirements into structured datasets and models

* Monitoring and improving data quality and operational data processes

* Leading and supporting a small team responsible for data operations and reporting

* Working with developers and platform engineers to improve data integration across systems

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience in data analytics, business intelligence or data platform roles

* Strong knowledge of Power BI and BI reporting environments

* Solid SQL and data modelling experience

* Understanding of data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes or data integration concepts

* The ability to translate business requirements into structured reporting solutions

* Strong communication skills and experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
