We are looking for a Healthcare Assistant join our team providing general practice services including;
Audiology, Phlebotomy,Administering Injections such as Flu and Pneumonia, long term conditionreviews, simple dressings, NHS Health checks etc.
All aspects of Healthcare assistant care, with opportunity to develop skills in line with the needs of the business and your personal interests and career aspirations.
We are currently looking to upskill our HCA team with appropriate Chronic Disease management skills so this a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in this area of care.

About the Practice/Department/Team
The New Queen Street & Stanground Team consists of 9 GP Partners, 2 ANPs, 6 nurses, 4 HCAs, plus multiple teams (prescriptions, admin, reception) as well as a supporting management team.
We help over 19k patients in the surrounding areas and are part of South Peterborough PCN.
Job responsibilitiesThe purpose of the post is to assist the GPs and nurse team in the delivery of safe,high quality primary care services to the practice population. The post holder will undertake delegated tasks and duties under indirect supervision of members of thenurse team. The post holder will work within clear parameters and lines of accountability after appropriate training and assessment of competence. The requirements of the post are linked to the Health Education England:
District and General Practice Nursing Service Education and Career Framework.
- Desire to work within care profession
- Can work to a high standard of care under
- supervision
- Experience with in a health
- care setting and/or primary
- car
- Basic English and Maths GCE level c and
- above (new grade 4 and above)
- Ability to accept training, coaching and
- guidance (in prep for Care Certificate study
- experience in clinical role
- Completed Care Certificate
- Qualified to NVQ level 2
- Other recognised forms of
- educational attainment
