We are currently looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Band 6 CAMHS Practitioner to join our Neurodevelopmental Team.
We are a multidisciplinary team working with young people with diagnosed moderate to severe Learning Disability and provide assessment and treatment for Autism and ADHD. We provide mental health assessments for young people with neurodevelopmental disorders and psychological therapies for co‑morbid mental health disorders.
The Neurodevelopmental Team are committed to a high level of patient care and the ideal candidate will have a strong team and work ethic, sense of accountability, interest in service development, accompanied by an ability to work under considerable pressure s post is open to professionals with the right attributes to enhance a team. We are a supportive team who value each other’s skills and knowledge and have a shared goal of providing the best care and support to the families we serve.

Main duties of the jobAbility to travel independently and in a timely manner across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to meet strict deadlines.
- To provide an evidence‑based diagnostic and therapy service to children and adolescents with neurodevelopmental disorders such as Autism, ADHD and Learning Disabilities in the Neurodevelopmental Service CAMHS which is part of the Children, Young People and Families Directorate in CPFT.
- Patients will be managed on a community basis, providing assessment of neurodevelopmental disorders and/or comorbid mental health disorder and evidence‑based therapy.
- At the same time as offering advice and consultation on patient’s mental health care to colleagues and partner agencies and to other non‑professional carers.
- To work autonomously within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the team’s and Trust’s policies and procedures.
