Support Worker – Care Home, Eye, Suffolk

An exciting job opportunity has arisen for a dedicated Support Worker to work in an exceptional care home based in the Eye, Suffolk area. You will be working for one of the UK's leading health care providers.

The care home is a purpose built unit for residents who have dementia and is a converted Victorian country house.

To be considered for this position you must hold an NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent.

• Be an essential part of the team, promoting the well-being and providing the highest quality of care to residents.
• Assist with daily tasks, including all personal care assistance from supporting with personal hygiene, to days out and companionship.
• Encourage independence, well‑being and support vulnerable individuals with their daily routines and activities.
• Ensure accurate record keeping at all times.

• Have a genuine desire to care for others.
• Be a good team player.
• Have good verbal and written communication skills.
• Have proven experience of working in a care setting.

• Salary: £12.60 per hour, annual salary £23,587.20.
