Medivet Peterborough Welland Road is a small animal, multi‑vet practice currently recruiting for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join their team. The practice is fully equipped including three consult rooms, ultrasound, dental and digital X‑ray etc.
This role covers 40 hours per week, over 5 days between 8:30 am‑7 pm and in 6 Saturdays 8:30 am‑2:00 pm at Medivet Peterborough Bretton.

- Support surgeries and procedures, completing all pre‑ and post‑procedure activity
- Carry out nurse‑led appointments and schedule 3 activities
- Deliver patient monitoring and care
- Manage admissions and discharges as directed by the Veterinary team
- Complete patient transfers to out of hours or enhanced care
- Dispense and check medication
- Deliver professional excellence, complying with all regulatory, practice and operational standards
- Hold briefings to engage and co‑ordinate your team to support the most effective running of the practice
- RCVS registered Veterinary Nurse
- Experience delivering exceptional patient and client care
- Experience working effectively as part of a team
- Experience supporting nurse consults, with an understanding of how this contributes to practice performance and efficiency
- Experienced in using coaching and influencing skills to get the best out of every colleague
