Position: Credit Controller - Strictly Based Applicants Only

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Credit Controller to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the company’s credit control processes, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts while maintaining positive relationships with clients. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting software to effectively manage accounts payable and receivable.

If you are multi-bilingual and can confidently speak Urdu, Punjabi or Hindi it will be advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor and manage customer accounts to ensure timely payments.
  • Conduct credit checks and assess the creditworthiness of new clients.
  • Handle incoming queries regarding outstanding invoices and payment terms.
  • Perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and send out statements, reminders, and follow-up communications for overdue accounts.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to resolve any billing discrepancies or disputes.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends in payment behavior and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with clients regarding their accounts.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a credit control or financial services role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on phone etiquette.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with telemarketing or customer service is an advantage.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
