Finance Business Partner

Join a well-established Social Housing organisation in a key Finance Business Partner role where you will play an important part in supporting financial decision‑making and performance across the business.

This Finance Business Partner opportunity is offered on an initial 12‑week interim contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. The role is based in Peterborough and offers a competitive day rate between £220‑£280, depending on experience.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Finance Business Partner who enjoys working closely with operational teams, providing strategic financial insight, and driving performance within a housing environment.

• Partner with operational and senior leadership teams to provide financial insight and support decision‑making
• Prepare and present management accounts, forecasts and financial reports
• Support budget setting, financial planning and variance analysis
• Provide financial guidance to non‑finance stakeholders across the organisation
• Identify financial risks and opportunities to improve business performance
• Support wider finance transformation and continuous improvement initiatives

• Previous experience working as a Finance Business Partner or within a similar strategic finance role
• Experience working within Social Housing or a regulated environment (highly desirable)
• Strong management accounting and financial analysis skills
• The ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non‑finance stakeholders
• A professional accounting qualification (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or working towards one
• Experience with in management accounting or business partnering
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced and collaborative environment

• £220‑£280 per day depending on experience
• Initial 12‑week interim contract
