As Private Client Tax Manager, you will oversee a varied portfolio, provide strategic tax planning advice, and support the development of junior team members. The firm places a strong emphasis on client relationships, technical excellence, and forward-thinking tax solutions, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys both advisory work and team leadership within a UK accountancy practice. Key Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of private clients, including high-net-worth individuals and owner-managed businesses Provide tax planning and advisory services across income tax, CGT, IHT and trusts Review tax returns and ensure compliance deadlines are met Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor Support and mentor junior staff while contributing to team development Liaise with Partners on complex tax matters and business development initiatives Requirements ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent experience Strong technical knowledge of Private Client Tax within a UK accountancy practice Proven experience managing client portfolios and delivering advisory work Excellent communication and relationship-building skills Must have a minimum of 4 years previous experience working within a UK Practice environment Ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team
