Group Tax Manager

Element Recruitment are delighted to be partnering with an employer of choice in the South West, as they look to hire a Group Tax Manager at what is an exciting and pivotal time, following a period of strategic growth. The Group Tax Manager will be key to leading on corporate tax strategy, identifying and proactively managing business risk, as well as leading the current Tax team.

Key Responsibilities also include:
Advisory & M&A:
Provide expert guidance on tax exposure related to acquisitions and disposals, supporting the business through complex transactions. Team Management:
Lead and mentor the existing Tax team, promoting a culture of continuous improvement Compliance & Reporting:
Oversee the preparation of key tax disclosures for the group and its associated entities Project Delivery:
Drive tax-related initiatives that align with the broader business improvement agenda The ideal candidate for this role will be a qualified tax professional (ACA/ACCA/CTA) with a strong track record and experience of group corporation tax exposure. You will have a proven track record in leading teams, with the ability to prioritise the various demands of a multi-entity group business. You will consider yourself to be a confident communicator, with an ability to partner with and advise stakeholders of all levels, with an analytical mindset.

Experience of tax advisory on acquisitions and disposals would be advantageous. A remuneration package of c.£100k is available for the right candidate, plus additional bonus and benefits. This business are operating on a hybrid working policy of 2- 3 days per week in the office, based in the South West with more details available on application.
