Technical Pricing Manager (Retail Pricing & Optimisation)

Hybrid, 1-2 days a week in office – Flexible

This leading UK General Insurer is hiring a Technical Pricing Manager to drive incremental lifetime value by building and optimising retail pricing models using a bespoke pricing pipeline and optimisation tooling.

Key focus

• Own end-to-end delivery of pricing models + optimisation (incl. Earnix; Radar also valued)
• Improve pricing processes, governance and performance through R&D and best practice
• Partner with Commercial Pricing and senior stakeholders to deliver P&L impact
• Lead, mentor and develop junior team members

Requirements

• Strong Python and/or R plus advanced modelling/ML methods
• Proven commercial uplift from pricing insight and optimisation
• Confident communicator and people manager
• Experience with optimisation tools such as Earnix (or Radar); other pricing platforms welcomed
• Comfortable applying advanced ML methods to pricing problems (e.g., GBMs, modern feature engineering, robust validation)
