About the Civil Engineer Role;
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Civil Engineer with at least one year of professional experience to join a growing consultancy team in Peterborough. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of infrastructure and development projects while developing your technical skills and progressing toward professional chartership.

Key Responsibilities of this Civil Engineer role;

Assist in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects, including highways, drainage, and infrastructure works.

Support senior engineers with technical analysis, calculations, and preparation of drawings and reports.

Contribute to project planning, documentation, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams.

Liaise with clients, contractors, and local authorities where required.

Ensure designs comply with relevant standards, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements for this Civil Engineer role:

Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.

Around 1 year of relevant industry experience (consultancy or design environment preferred).

Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Micro Drainage (or similar).

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

A proactive attitude with a desire to learn and develop professionally.

Working toward ICE chartership or willingness to pursue professional accreditation.
